Ingredients for a Strawberry Daiquiri
Strawberries – Frozen or fresh strawberries can be used for the strawberry flavor. Freezing fresh strawberries solid before blending them gives this classic cocktail a thick texture.
Alcohol – Bacardi (or any brand) white or light rum is preferred over dark or spiced rum so it doesn’t overwhelm the strawberry and lime flavors. If using vodka, use half the amount you would for the rum.
Variations – Add other fruits to change it up! Try bananas, mangoes, or peaches or go make it tropical with coconut rum and some pineapple chunks.
How to Make a Strawberry Daiquiri

I’ve had this many times at restaurants I also had a mix of the strawberry and banana and loved both, but when i make them it is always either too thick or to thin. What is the amount of banana and if I want both in the same drink.
I have never tried making this drink with banana added so I can’t say for sure what the ratios would be. It sounds delicious though, Pat!
I was into my second day of drinking frozen strawberry daiquiris when I saw this lovely woman walking down the beach on St Thomas. We’ve been happily married for 51 years.
Aww what a sweet story Paul! I love that this invokes such a lovely memory for you.
