Caramel Apple Dip is the perfect no bake dessert recipe to end any meal!  I love fruit based desserts in the summer (like Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Crisps or Blueberry Cobbler) and this easy recipe is no exception!

This easy recipe takes only a few minutes to prepare making it the perfect snack to put together when you have guests! We serve this caramel apple dip with a variety of crisp tart apples, fruit or even graham crackers.

If You Love Caramel Apples

If you love caramel apples, you will definitely go crazy for this Caramel Apple Dip!  It’s simple and easy to make and is the perfect appetizer, snack or even party dish.  Everyone raves about it!

This rich creamy caramel apple dip has layers of a cream cheese filling topped with gooey caramel and Heath (or Skor) bits.  It’s the perfect dip for apples (not to mention other fruit and even graham crackers)!

Cream Cheese Caramel Apple Dip

To make this dessert recipe, I use a combination of cream cheese mixed with greek yogurt.  The addition of yogurt makes this caramel apple dip a little bit less sweet (and lightens it up a bit).  This recipe is pretty forgiving so while I use plain Greek yogurt, you can use regular yogurt (it’ll just be a bit less thick).

Plain Greek yogurt mixed with the caramel sauce and tart apples means this recipe isn’t overly sweet. If you’d like it a bit sweeter you can either use vanilla yogurt or stir a spoonful of  brown sugar into the cream cheese mixture!

If you’d like a fluffy caramel apple dip, you can also fold in a little bit of whipped topping before adding it to your serving dish!

The best part of this dip (of course) is the caramel. You can certainly use a store bought caramel sauce but an easy homemade Caramel Sauce takes just minutes to make and it tastes SO much better than store bought!

If you prefer, you can use reduced free and sugar-free products when making this!  It works perfectly with fat free greek yogurt and light cream cheese, nobody will ever know the difference. While we love this dip with caramel, it’s great to switch up with other types of sauces (like Wicked Hot Fudge Sauce)!

This recipe can easily be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. If making ahead of time leave the english toffee bits off just until serving. Slicing the apples and tossing them with a little bit of lemon juice keeps them from turning brown.

    1. That is up to you, Deb! I usually buy one container of caramel sauce and drizzle it on top until it looks just right. I would say about one cup of caramel sauce since I like a nice thin layer but you can add more for a thicker layer and more yummy caramel in each bite!
